The Tailwagger Club only uses kind, fair and effective reward-based training techniques, based on a modern understanding of canine learning. The use of choke chains or prong collars is not allowed in classes and owners are shown alternative, kinder ways to teach their pets. Classes are taught by qualified trainers and assistants, several of whom are members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and all adhere to its principles.
